When you subscribe to a Safina plan, we set up a phone number just for you. This is your Safina number, and it’s how Safina manages your calls.
How Your Safina Number Works
Your Safina number is a real phone number that your AI assistant answers. It works through call forwarding: when a call on your main number goes unanswered or gets declined, your carrier forwards it to your Safina number. Safina picks up, has the conversation, and sends you a summary.
Here’s the flow:
- Someone calls your main number.
- You’re busy, so the call goes unanswered (or you decline it).
- Your carrier forwards the call to your Safina number.
- Safina answers, talks to the caller, and gathers their information.
- You get a push notification with the call summary.
Setting Up Call Forwarding
For Safina to receive your forwarded calls, you need to activate call forwarding from your main number to your Safina number. The Safina app walks you through this during setup. It typically involves dialing a short code on your phone.

Using Your Safina Number Directly
Your Safina number isn’t just for forwarding. You can also share it directly with people. Any call made to your Safina number is always answered by your AI assistant and summarized in the app.
This is useful when:
- You want to protect your personal number. Give out your Safina number on business cards, website contact pages, or directory listings. Callers reach your AI assistant, and you review the summaries at your convenience.
- You want a dedicated business line. Use your Safina number as a public-facing number for your business while keeping your personal number private.
- You’re running ads or campaigns. Use the Safina number as the contact number so every lead is captured and summarized, even outside business hours.
Finding Your Safina Number
Your Safina number is displayed in the Safina app under the Safina AI tab, right below your minute usage. You can also find it in your account settings.
One Number Per Plan
Each Safina plan comes with one number. If you need multiple numbers (for different departments, locations, or team members), the Business plan supports multiple assistants. For larger setups, contact us about enterprise options.
