Safina + Brevo

Safina adds callers to your Brevo email lists automatically. Segment by call type, trigger welcome emails and campaigns. GDPR-compliant. From $11.99/month.

What the Integration Does

Brevo (formerly Sendinblue) is a European email marketing platform built for GDPR compliance. Safina’s Brevo integration connects your phone calls to your email marketing workflow.

When someone calls your business, Safina captures their name, phone number, email address (if provided), and the reason for the call. Based on configurable rules, Safina adds the contact to the appropriate Brevo list and can trigger an automated email campaign.

Add Contacts to Lists Automatically

After each call, Safina creates or updates a contact in Brevo with the caller’s information. You define which list the contact goes to: a general “Phone Inquiries” list, a “New Leads” list, or a segment based on the call topic.

Segment by Call Type

Not every caller should get the same email. Safina lets you route contacts to different Brevo lists based on what they called about. Appointment requests go to one list. General inquiries go to another. Urgent matters go to a third. Your email campaigns stay targeted.

Trigger Automated Campaigns

Brevo’s automation workflows can fire as soon as a new contact is added to a list. That means a caller who books an appointment can receive a confirmation email within minutes. A new lead can get a welcome sequence. A general inquiry can trigger your newsletter signup.

Setup in 4 Steps

1. Get Your Brevo API Key

Log in to Brevo, go to Settings > API Keys, and create a new API key. Copy it.

2. Connect Brevo in Safina

Open the Safina app, go to Settings > Integrations, and tap “Connect Brevo.” Paste your API key.

3. Select Your Lists

Choose which Brevo lists Safina should add contacts to. You can set a default list for all callers or configure rules to route contacts to specific lists based on call category.

4. Configure Triggers (Optional)

If you want automated emails, set up automation workflows in Brevo that trigger when a new contact is added to a specific list. Safina handles the contact creation; Brevo handles the email.

Total setup time: Under 5 minutes.

Use Cases

New Lead Capture: Welcome Email

A potential customer calls to ask about your services. Safina answers, captures their information, and adds them to your “New Leads” list in Brevo. Brevo’s automation sends a welcome email within 5 minutes: your services overview, pricing link, and a booking link for a free consultation. The lead stays warm without you doing anything.

Appointment Booking: Confirmation Email

A caller books an appointment through Safina. The contact is added to your “Appointments” list in Brevo with the appointment date in a custom field. Brevo triggers a confirmation email with the date, time, address, and preparation instructions. Two days before the appointment, a reminder email goes out automatically.

General Inquiry: Newsletter Signup

Someone calls with a general question, not ready to buy, but interested. Safina adds them to your “Newsletter” list. They receive your regular updates, tips, and offers. When they are ready, they already know your business.

GDPR Compliance

Both Safina and Brevo are European companies with GDPR-compliant data handling. Caller data is processed under legitimate interest for business communication. Brevo stores data in EU data centers. If a caller requests data deletion, you can remove them from both systems.

For email marketing, ensure your Brevo automations comply with opt-in requirements in your jurisdiction. Safina can ask callers for email marketing consent during the call if you configure the conversation flow accordingly.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does Safina collect email addresses from callers?

Safina asks for the caller’s email address during the conversation if you configure it to do so. Not every caller will provide one. For callers who do not share their email, Safina still adds them to Brevo with their name and phone number, useful for SMS campaigns or manual follow-up.

Can I add contacts to multiple Brevo lists based on one call?

Yes. You can configure rules so that a single call adds the contact to multiple lists. For example, a new lead who also books an appointment can be added to both your “New Leads” list and your “Appointments” list simultaneously.

What if the caller is already in my Brevo contacts?

Safina checks for existing contacts by phone number and email. If the contact already exists, Safina updates the record with new information from the call rather than creating a duplicate. The contact’s list membership is also updated according to your rules.

Do I need Brevo’s paid plan?

No. Brevo’s free plan (300 emails/day, unlimited contacts) works with Safina. If you send more than 300 emails per day or need advanced automation features, you will need a paid Brevo plan.
