App Language vs. AI Language: Language Settings in the Safina App
Understand the important difference: In this guide, we explain to you where to change the language of the Safina app interface and where to configure the voice and language of your AI assistant.

When you work with Safina, you move between two "language worlds": One is the interface of the app that you operate. The other is the voice that your callers hear on the phone.
These two settings are separate from each other. That gives you maximum flexibility, but it is an important difference you should be aware of. We will explain to you here where you can set what.
The App Language: Your User Interface
This setting only affects the texts that you see in the Safina app. It changes the language of the menus, buttons, and descriptions.
It has no influence on the language that your Safina speaks with callers. So you could, for example, operate the app in English while your AI assistant greets your customers in German.
How to change the app language:
Go to the "Profile" tab in the lower menu bar.
Select the "App Language" menu item there.
Choose your preferred language from the list and confirm your selection. The app will switch immediately.
The Language of the AI: What Your Callers Hear
This is the configuration of the actual voice of your assistant. Here you determine how Safina sounds during phone calls and what language it speaks.
You can find these important settings in your assistant's configuration hub.
How to adjust the language and voice of the AI:
Go to the "Safina AI" tab in the lower menu bar.
Scroll down to the "Voice Behavior" section.
Here you will find all the relevant options:
Language: Choose the primary language in which Safina should greet callers. Safina can also automatically recognize other languages in conversation and switch if needed.
Voice: Choose one of the available voices.
Tone: Decide whether your assistant should address callers formally with "you" or informally with "you".
