The most important tip in advance: Router or provider portal?
In principle, there are two main places where you can set up call forwarding: directly in your router or in the online customer portal of your internet provider (e.g., Telekom or Vodafone).
We have a clear recommendation for you to ensure maximum reliability:
Our recommendation: If your provider supports it, set up the forwarding in the online portal of the provider. The advantage: This so-called "network-side" forwarding works even if your router at home should be turned off or has an outage. This guarantees the best possible availability for Safina.
What you should have ready
Before you start, prepare the following items:
The access data for your router (often found on a sticker on the back).
Possibly the access data for the online portal of your internet provider.
Your personal Safina number, which you can find in the "Safina AI" tab in your app.
An overview of the setup methods
Here we briefly describe the two most common processes. You can find the detailed click instructions in the linked articles from the table above.
Method 1: Setup directly in the router (e.g., Fritz!Box)
This method is ideal if you want to manage all settings directly on your own device.
Login: You log into the interface of your router via your web browser (e.g., at
http://fritz.box
).Find Menu Item: Navigate to the "Telephony" section and then to "Call Handling" or "Call Forwarding".
Create Rule: Set up a new rule and define when (e.g., "if busy" or "after 20 seconds") and where (your Safina number) the call should be forwarded.

Method 2: Setup in the online portal of the provider (e.g., Telekom)
This method is particularly reliable and is recommended for Telekom and Vodafone customers.
Login: You log into your provider’s customer center with your access data.
Find Menu Item: Navigate to the section for your telephony settings (often called "Telephony Center").
Create Rule: Select the phone number, set the condition (e.g., "forward if no answer"), and enter your Safina number as the target.

The quick alternative: Setup via key code
For technically skilled users, there is often a third way: setup via control codes that are entered directly on the landline phone (e.g., *21*TARGET_NUMBER#
). Detailed lists of these codes can also be found in the specific instructions for your provider.
Your office is now available around the clock
No matter which route you choose, once set up, your landline calls will be reliably forwarded to Safina. This ensures that no concern is lost.
