Set up call forwarding with o2 using a code

If you use a landline from o2, setting up your call forwarding to Safina is particularly straightforward and quick. The most common method recommended by o2 is configuration via so-called control codes directly on your phone.

This method has the advantage that the forwarding is activated directly in the o2 network and thus works independently of your router (e.g., o2 HomeBox).

Setting up via keypad code: An overview

All you need is a phone that is connected to your o2 line and your personal Safina number.

The process is always the same:

1. Pick up the receiver.

2. Enter the desired code completely using the keys.

3. Confirm the entry by pressing the call button (if necessary) or wait for the confirmation tone.

Note for use with a Fritz!Box on an o2 connection

If you are using your own router like a Fritz!Box on your o2 connection, you theoretically have two options: setting it up via the Fritz!Box interface or the o2 network codes mentioned above.

Our recommendation: In this case, also use the o2 network codes. Simply enter them using a phone connected to your Fritz!Box. The Fritz!Box forwards the codes to the o2 network. This ensures that you use the more robust, network-side forwarding.

For o2 users, the keypad codes are the most direct and reliable way to securely pass calls to Safina.
