Setting up call forwarding in the Telekom Telephony Center
The official guide for Telekom customers. We will show you step by step how to set up the recommended network-based call forwarding to Safina in the online phone center.
If you are a customer of Deutsche Telekom, the best and most reliable way to set up your call forwarding is through the online portal. This so-called "network-side" configuration has a major advantage: it works independently of your hardware at home.
This means your calls will still be securely forwarded to Safina even if your router (e.g. a Speedport) is switched off or has a malfunction.
Primary Method (Recommended): Setup in the Telephony Center
The Telephony Center is your central control point for all call settings directly within the Telekom network.
Step 1: Log in to the Customer Center
Open a web browser and navigate to the website kundencenter.telekom.de
. Log in there with your Telekom login.
Step 2: Navigate to the Telephony Center
After logging in, the path may vary slightly but will always lead to the destination.
A typical path is: "Manage Connection" → "My Phone Numbers" → "Change Telephony Settings".
In newer interfaces, you can often find the section directly under "Internet & Telephony" → "Telephony" → "Call Forwarding in the Telephony Center".
Step 3: Configure Call Forwarding
Once you are in the Telephony Center, the rest is self-explanatory:
Select Phone Number: First, select the landline number for which you want to set up the forwarding.
Select Forwarding Type: You have the standard options to choose from:
Always forward (immediate forwarding)
Forward when busy
Forward when no answer (after a defined time)
Enter Destination Number: Enter your personal Safina Number in the corresponding field.
Save: Click on "Save". The forwarding is now directly active in the Telekom network.
Alternative Method: Setup via Code
At Telekom, you can also set up the network-side forwarding via control codes directly on your phone.
