Deactivate Safina for individual contacts
Not every call should go to your AI assistant? Learn here how to easily deactivate Safina for certain contacts like family or VIP customers, so they can always reach you directly.

Your AI assistant is a powerful tool to filter and organize your workday. However, some calls are so important or personal that they should always come directly to you.
This is precisely why there is the option to specifically disable Safina for selected contacts. This way, you create a kind of "VIP list" for the people who should never speak to an assistant.
Prerequisite: Imported Contacts
To use this feature, you must first have imported your address book into the Safina app. Only then can Safina associate the incoming number with a contact and apply the corresponding rule. How to Disable Safina for a Contact
The process is incredibly simple and can be done in just a few clicks.

Step 1: Open the Contacts Tab
Open your Safina app and navigate to the "Contacts" tab in the bottom menu bar. Here you will see the list of all imported contacts.
Step 2: Find the Desired Contact
Scroll through the list or use the search bar at the top to find the person or company for which you want to set up an exception.
Step 3: Flip the Switch
To the right of each contact name, you will find a switch that is set to "Active" by default.
Just tap this switch to disable Safina for this specific contact.
The switch will change its color and position to indicate that the setting for this contact is now "Inactive".
You can revert this setting at any time in the same way.
What Does "Safina Disabled" Mean?
If a contact on your exception list calls you and you miss the call, decline it, or are unavailable, the following happens:
The call will NOT be forwarded to your Safina assistant.
Your phone behaves as if no forwarding is set up. Therefore, the call goes to your regular voicemail (if activated) or simply rings out.
