What happens when my minute volume is exhausted?
Is your minute package almost empty? Don't worry. We'll explain what happens when your volume is used up, how we warn you in advance, and how your calls will still be handled securely.
You are actively using Safina and are wondering what happens if the minute package included in your plan runs out?
The most important information first: Even if your minute volume is exhausted, not a single call goes unanswered. We have implemented a transparent and automatic protection mechanism to ensure your availability and protect you from unexpected costs.
Here we explain the process in its three phases.

The process in three phases
You do not need to constantly keep an eye on your balance. Safina informs you proactively.
Phase 1: The warning via email
When your available minute volume reaches a critical threshold (e.g. only 10% is available), we will automatically send you a warning email.
This message gives you enough lead time to react if necessary and to adjust your plan before the volume is completely used up.

Phase 2: The volume is exhausted – The protection mechanism kicks in
At the moment your last included minute is used, the following happens:
You will be informed: You will receive another email informing you that your volume for the current billing period is now exhausted.
Safina automatically pauses: To ensure full cost transparency, Safina temporarily disables call forwarding to your AI assistant.
Your calls are safe: From this point on, calls will no longer be forwarded to Safina. Your phone line behaves as if no forwarding is active. Calls will go to your traditional voicemail or simply ring out, depending on your provider's default settings.
Phase 3: The reactivation
You have two simple options to reactivate Safina:
Option A: Wait for the new billing period
At the beginning of your next billing month, your minute package will automatically be replenished. Call forwarding to Safina will also be reactivated then.
Option B: Perform immediate upgrade (Recommended)
If you do not want to wait, you can upgrade to a higher plan with more minutes at any time. You can do this directly in the app. After the upgrade, Safina will be ready for you again immediately. This system is designed to be fair and transparent. The proactive warnings and the automatic stoppage of forwarding ensure that you always have full control over your costs and do not miss any important concerns of your customers.
