The Safina call forwarding is not working?

Your calls are not being forwarded to Safina? This troubleshooting guide shows you how to solve the problem on your phone in 2 steps and what Apple users need to consider.

Note: This troubleshooting guide focuses on issues with call forwarding from your mobile phone. If you are having problems with your landline, the cause is usually in the router settings. Please check our guide on Setting up on the Router.

You have set everything up for your phone, but calls are not reaching your Safina assistant? Don’t worry. This problem is usually due to a small glitch in your mobile provider’s settings and can typically be fixed quickly with a simple "reset".

Let’s go through this step by step together.

The 2-Step Solution: Reconfigure Forwarding

In most cases, this method resolves the issue. We will completely reset all forwardings and then set them up properly again.

Step 1: Disable All Forwardings

First, we need to ensure that no old or faulty rules are still active with your mobile provider.

  1. Open the Phone App on your smartphone (the app you use to make normal calls).

  2. Enter the universal code ##002# in the dial pad.

  3. Tap the Receiver Button to "call" this code.

  4. After a brief moment, you should see a confirmation message from your mobile provider on the screen informing you that all call forwarding has been deleted.

Alternatively, you can also open the Safina App directly and click the "Disable" button under the "Forwarding to Safina" option in the "Safina AI" tab. This will automatically select the code ##002#. You just need to press the Receiver Button afterward.

Step 2: Reactivate Forwarding through the Safina App

Once everything is reset, we will simply set up the forwarding to Safina again.

  1. Open the Safina App.

  2. Go to the "Safina AI" tab and then to the "Call Forwarding" menu item.

  3. Select the desired rules (we recommend "Select All" to start) and tap "Activate".

  4. The app will now guide you through the process like it did during the initial setup, where you only need to press the Receiver Button in your Phone App to confirm the control code.

After that, it’s best to make a test call. The issue should now be resolved.

Important Note for Apple Users: Live Voicemail

On iPhones, a special feature called "Live Voicemail" can occasionally cause conflicts with call forwarding. If you are using an iPhone and the steps above do not resolve the issue, please disable this feature.

  • To do this, go to the "Settings" on your iPhone.

  • Use the search bar at the very top to search for "Live Voicemail".

  • Turn off the feature in the menu that opens.
